Tracey, thank you so much for posting your photos. They were great. And, to the rest of the family, hope the rest of your summer was a good one. Briley and Avery, my grandsons, have both been under the weather the past few weeks. If one gets sick, the other follows right behind. I don't think there is a way to keep them from putting everything into their mouths? Elizabeth couldn't sterilze their toys fast enough to keep them from sharing their slobber. Briley, the older one, was sick first; and then Avery caught it. I don't know how Elizabeth does it. I only had the boys for a few hours while she and Chloe were shopping for school supplies and new outfits. I was sure glad to hear her car pulling up in the driveway that day. It takes some real stamina on a good day to take care of those two but when they aren't feeling well it is a gold medal olympic event to manage them. (I've been glued to the Olympics the past 10 days, can you tell?) But just as quickly as little ones get sick; they bounce back. And, Chloe is getting ready to start the 5th grade. She had a really fun summer this year. She went to church camp in New Mx., Disney World , San Marcos, Lake Brownwood, Canyon to see the play "Texas" and of course, Andrews, Tx for our family reunion. I can't brag about my summer like that but I've had a great summer this year.
Maybe we need to have a technology get together (even over the phone) so that some of you can see just how easy it is to write on this site. It'd be a fun way for us all to communicate with each other. I had to have Elizabeth explain it to me. I do realize that her and Tracey's generation is much more computer savy than mine but really now, those of you that are lucky enough to be on Aunt Gina's email list, how many of you would have thought just 5 years ago that our Aunt Gina would the "Email Queen"? She can put clever little pictures in her emails, she can make the print wiggle when you read it and have music to go along with it! And it's not unusal to recieve about 50 in one day from her like that. There is no telling what might happen if Aunt Gina begins to blog!
All right.....that's enough for now.....I'll shut up.
Love you all! Dodie
